Interlude of Pleasure and Restoration #7

I officially have two weeks left of my self imposed Interlude before I begin my next role as Executive Director at Project SAGE, formerly Women's Support Services.

Yesterday and today I went to check out what the big annual Project SAGE Fundraiser is- called Trade Secrets. It's in its 24th year and the money raised from this extraordinary event is critical to the services SAGE offers.

Yesterday, Kim Stauffer and I enjoyed day one of Trade Secrets- the garden tours- seeing one of the incredible gardens, belonging to an extraordinary woman named Bunny Williams, who was instrumental in starting Trade Secrets. Then, today, I went to the rare plant and antiques sale that also benefits SAGE. That happens at Lime Rock Park and it blew my mind! What an operation! Tons of volunteers and vendors working so hard to help SAGE. It was so fun to see tons of cars and 1000's of people, enjoying the beautiful weather and having a great time for a great cause.

Got me even more excited than I already am to start in two weeks.

Next year, I hope you will all join me at Trade Secrets- it's 25th year! It's always in May- so mark your calendars and join the fun.

But first- I will enjoy two more weeks of Pleasure and Restoration:)
